Tomb Kings Unit Summary
Skeleton Spearmen: The Spearmen deployed in the center of the Tomb Kings formation. During the first turn, the Tomb Herald decided to join the unit. This allowed them to March and move with greater speed down the battlefield. They navigated through the sand pit area and then headed towards the large unit of Dwarf Warriors. They were targeted a few times by the Dwarf Quarrelers and the Bolt Thrower. They lost 8 skeletons from long range. But, spells from the Liche Priest was able to regenerate their unit back to full strength by the time they Charged into the Dwarf Warriors. They were in Close Combat with the Dwarf Warriors for 5 player turns before the Warriors were destroyed. They lost only 10 Spearmen to the Warriors. After that, they aimed at the partial unit Dwarf Longbeards, and failed an initial Charge into Close Combat with that unit. After a successful Charge in their next turn, they were able to destroy the remaining 4 Longbeards from the game after a couple rounds of Close Combat. Enough Skeletons were regenerated throughout the game that they did not give up any points.
Skeleton Warriors: The Skeleton Warriors with hand weapons deployed to the right of the Skeleton Spearmen in the Tomb Kings formation. They moved straight down the battlefield and were successfully Charged by the Dwarf Hammerers. The Hammerers were thinning out the unit of Skeletons quickly until the Hammerers were Charged in their Rear Flank by the unit Skeleton Chariots. After being decimated by the Hammerers, they reformed to face the Quarrelers unit, but they never engaged with them. However, they lost 4 Skeletons from their Crossbows. They finished the game with less than half of their unit’s starting size.
Skeleton Horsemen: The Skeletal Horsemen deployed on the left flank of the Army’s formation, and were a Vanguard unit. They moved swiftly down the left flank of the battlefield and squeezed through the gap between the rock formation and the edge of the battlefield. They successfully Charged into the Dwarf Slayers unit. The Slayers suffered from Fear of the Horsemen. The Horsemen destroyed the Slayers in three rounds of Close Combat. They lost only 2 Horsemen to the Slayers. They were Regenerated back to full unit Strength before they Charged into the Longbeards unit. However, the Longbeards destroyed the unit of Horsemen in 2 rounds of Close Combat. But, the Horsemen caused 5 wounds on the Longbeards in return.
Skeleton Chariots: The Chariots deployed on the center left of the Army Formation, and moved forward in that position until they reached the rock formation. They hooked toward the center, where they were targeted by the Dwarf Bolt Thrower. They lost a full Chariot to the Bolt Thrower. They successfully Charged into the Bolt Thrower in their next turn and were regenerated back to full strength during the Charge. They destroyed the Bolt Thrower unit without much resistance. However, they killed one of the crew with their ranged attacks before they Charged. After a free Reform, they declared a Charge into the rear flank of the Hammerers unit and made it into Combat. They destroyed the remaining 5 Hammerers from their Combat with the Skeleton Warriors as the result. After reforming, they prepared to assault the Quarrelers unit. They successfully Charged into the Quarrelers right flank, and destroyed all but their front rank of Dwarfs. The Quarrelers fled from the Chariots and were able to escape being run down by them.
Hierotitan: The Hierotitan deployed on the right flank of the Army Formation near the Liche Priest. He was primarily used for his Magic abilities, with his two Bound Spells. He cast Shem’s Burning Gaze from the Icon of Ptra 6 times. He cast the Spirit Leech spell with his Scales of Usirian 5 times. He caused 6 wounds from his spells, the most notable was the Spirit Leech spell that killed the Dwarf Thane early in the game. At the end of the game, the Fleeing Quarrelers fled through the Hierotitan and lost one Dwarf from Dangerous terrain. Then Hierotitan Charged into the rear flank of the Quarrelers on his next turn and destroyed the final 4 dwarfs.
Tomb Herald: The Tomb Herald joined the unit of Skeleton Spearmen during the first turn of the game. He was involved with the Spearmen in all their Combat rounds with the Dwarfs. He inflicted 14 Wounds on the dwarfs. Most notably, he cut down the Longbeard champion single-handedly in his last round of Close Combat. The Tomb Herald never took a Wound during the battle.
Liche Priest: The Liche Priest was deployed on the right flank of the Army Formation. He moved up the battlefield and cast spells during every round of the game, except for the final round. He spent most of the game safely nested behind the unit of Skeleton Warriors with hand weapons. He was never attacked and was able to cast 19 out of 20 spells. Only two of them were dispelled. They were all augment spells that benefited his army, and 33 skeletons were Regenerated throughout the army during the battle.

Dwarfs Unit Summary
Warriors: The Dwarf Warriors were deployed in the center of the Army Formation next to the Mysterious Hill. They Marched straight forward and were charged by the Skeletal Spearmen with the Tomb Herald. They were defeated by the Spearmen and Herald after 5 rounds of Close Combat, but they courageously fought to the last Dwarf.
Quarrelers: The Quarrelers were deployed on the left flank of the Army Formation. They moved forward and fired off volleys of crossbow bolts at the Spearmen, and the Hierotitan. After the Hammerers were destroyed by the Chariots, they fired some volleys into the unit of Skeletons with hand weapons. They were also the target of three Magical attack spells from the Hierotitan, and lost one Dwarf from those attempts. Finally, they were Charged on the flank by the Chariots and were decimated down to 5 Dwarfs and then broke from Close Combat. They Fled through the Hierotitan and lost one Dwarf. Then they were Charged by the Hierotitan in the Tomb Kings’ final turn and were all killed in Pursuit.
Longbeards: The Longbeards were deployed on the right flank next to the Mysterious Hill. They moved forward and were left out of most of the initial attacks and Charges from the skeletons. They suffered one Wound from a Magical spell attack from the Hierotitan. Then they were successfully Charged by the unit Skeletal Horsemen, who had recently defeated the Slayers. The Horsemen who were Regenerated back to full unit strength were defeated by the Longbeards, but the Dwarfs were reduced down to 4 models. They were eventually Charged by the Skeletal Spearmen and the Tomb Herald and were finally eliminated. But, they fought to the last Dwarf.
Hammerers: The Hammerers unit was deployed on the center left of the Army Formation. The Dwarf Thane was part of the unit. They moved straight up the center and were targeted multiple times by Magic attack spells. The Dwarf Thane was killed by the Hierotitan from a Spirit Leech spell. They lost another dwarf from Shem’s Burning Gaze. They finally Charged and made it into Combat with the Skeleton Warriors with hand weapons. The Hammerers were making good progress on destroying the unit of skeletons until they were Charged in the rear flank by the Skeleton Chariots. The remaining 5 Hammerers were Wiped Out from the Charge.
Slayers: The Slayers were deployed on the right flank of the Army Formation. They were the first unit to engage in Close Combat with the Tomb Kings when they were Charged by the Skeletal Horsemen. They failed their Fear test and struggled to do much damage to the skeletons. They only managed to give the horsemen 2 wounds before they were slain by them.
Bolt Thrower: The Bolt Thrower was deployed in the center of the Army Formation. They inched forward until they were in range of Tomb Kings targets. They inflicted wounds on the Skeletal Spearmen, and then on the Chariots. One full Chariot was destroyed just before the Chariots Charged into the Bolt Thrower. The Chariots also picked off one of the crew before they Charged. The Chariots were Restored to full strength by magical effects from the Liche Priest as they completed their Charge into the warmachine. The Bolt Thrower was easily destroyed in Combat.
Thane: The Dwarf Thane was deployed in the unit of Hammerers. He was targeted by the Hierotitan with his Spirit Leech spell early in the battle. He lost both wounds from the spell and met his fate before he could make any contributions to the conflict.
