Daemons Unit Summary
Bloodletters: The Bloodletters led by the champion named Slicer was deployed on the far left flank of the battle formation, behind a fence. While crossing the fence, one wound was lost to a Dangerous Terrain test. They continued straight up the battlefield and aimed at the Darkshard sitting behind a bend in the river. However, they were cut down in three volleys of crossbow bolts before they could engage in close combat.
Bloodletters: The Bloodletters led by the champion named Forgotten was deployed in the center of the battle formation. They were joined by the Herald of Khorne. They moved up the center of the battlefield and were first met by the Dark Riders. They took the riders’ charge but beat them in one round of Close Combat. The riders fled, but the Bloodletters Restrained. Next, they engaged in close combat with the Dreadspears. They beat them in one round of Close Combat. The Dreadspears broke from Combat and the Bloodletters Pursued and destroyed them. Next, they engaged the Bleakswords in Close Combat. The Bleakswords broke after three rounds of Close Combat. They could not catch the Bleakswords in Pursuit, but they charged them in the next round and destroyed them. Next, they engaged the Darkshards. But, the Darkshards cut them down to only a few Daemons before they could enter Close Combat. The Darkshards eliminated the last Bloodletter in Close Combat, leaving the Herald of Khorne alone in combat for a few more rounds of Combat before the end.
Flesh Hounds. The Flesh Hounds led by the champion named Killer were deployed on the left flank. As the leading Vanguard unit, they made their way directly toward the Darkshards. But, they were cut down quickly by the Darkshards. The Champion survived the shooting and charged into the Bleakswords. No wounds were exchanged in Close Combat, and the Champion disappeared due to a failed Instability roll.
Flesh Hounds. The Flesh Hounds led by the champion named Ripper were deployed in the center behind a gap in the large Mysterious Forest. During a Vanguard move, they entered the forest and discovered it to be a Chaos Forest, which granted them the Killing Blow ability for one turn after exiting. But, the ability was never used. The unit made their way to the top of the Mysterious Hill, which was a Mound of Channeling, and had no effect on them. While on the hill, the unit of Harpies Charged their flank but failed their Fear test. The Flesh Hounds gave the harpies a wound. But, the Harpies ended up exiting the battlefield after they completed their Swoop attack from the air.
Chaos Furies. The Furies deployed on the right flank of the Daemon’s formation. They continued moving up the right flank until they neared the house or cottage. They took a wound from a Darkshards’ volley. They landed on the ground and charged the house, with the Elf Master garrisoned inside. The Master failed a Fear check and took a wound in Close Combat, and saved a second wound. But, the Furies failed an Instability test after the second round and all vanished.
Herald of Khorne. Claw, the Herald of Khorne deployed within the Bloodletters formation led by the champion named Forgotten. He was involved in all the same battles as the Bloodletters. But, he continued fighting solo against the Darkshards for a few extra rounds. He eventually took two wounds from the Combat, but not before cutting the Darkshards down to less than half of their starting unit size.

After three Shooting rounds, the Bloodletters were reduced to nothing. They also targeted the Chaos Furies while in they were in the air, and dropped one from the sky. Next, they targeted the other unit Bloodletters with the Herald of Khorne. The Darkshards thinned the unit down to the Herald and three Bloodletters before engaging in Close Combat. They finished off the rest of the Bloodletters in Combat. Then after a few rounds of combat against the lone Herald, they finished him off as well. They were the only unit of Dark Elves still standing at the end of the battle.

After that, they Swooped at the Flesh Hounds on their flank while on top of the Mound of Channeling. They failed another Fear test and caused no wounds, but took a wound from the hounds. But, they Swooped back up into the air and moved off the edge of the battlefield and out of the game.
Elf Master: The Master was deployed alone in the center of the battlefield. He entered the house or cottage and garrisoned it alone.
